Machine equipment is designed for crushing branches, wood and wood waste, using two-way self-feeding cutting screw. The high performance of the machine is provided by the KOHLER petrol engine of 14Hp, which is by robust pulley geared to slow, to force. The machine has automatic feeder. The wood chipper takes branches with leaves, needles, branched, dry, wet, and takes also boards and beams.

The machine is with off-road modification. Equipped with off-road wheels Ø410x160mm, with the towing hitch connection. When crushed, the branches are inserted into the red hopper and the chips are blown to the ground or to the net bag that can be attached to the chipper.

The receiving hopper for inserting of branches is equipped with safety brake STOP.

The final chip is suitable for heating in a boiler or fireplace, soil fixing and possibly for other purposes. The chip is asymmetrical and airy, so beautifully swells, does not mould and its calorific value is very high.

Why auger?

It pulls wood in quickly and reliably while cutting it at the same time.
There are no shocks during chipping. The auger has less resistance than the cutting of a cylindrical or disc chipper. Neither the machine nor the tractor suffers.
Auger wear is very low.
Many times longer service life than blades.
The auger is not discarded, but refurbished! Based on more than 20 years of experience.
Anyone can sharpen the auger themselves. No disassembly or professional service is required.

Sharpening after 150 m3 of wood chips.
The cut material does not crumble, which further reduces the content of fine particles.
The machine does not care whether you insert a thick branch or many small ones.
All types of branches can be chipped – soft, hard, dry, wet, with needles and leaves. Large, small and even millimeter-sized.
Wood chips are ideal for burning in boilers, fireplaces, and smokehouses.
Wood chips are widely used in gardening, and if you don't need them, you can return them to nature for composting.

Hello, I own a PIRANA chipper and I’m more than happy with it. Could’ve been a bit bigger, but it’s good enough for me. It handles branches up to 8 cm, and anything over 5 cm I cut into meter-long pieces, so no problem. I also worked with a chipper that had blades, but I wasn’t satisfied at all – it wouldn’t take green thuja, pine, spruce, etc. The PIRANA eats up everything I throw at it, and that’s exactly what I needed, so for me it’s number one. In October 2016, I purchased the Pirana screw chipper with a petrol engine. During my visit, when the owner presented the machine to me, he told me that I would not regret it. Even after 9 years, I must agree with him – the machine is powerful and indestructible, qualitatively incomparably better than similar products from various retail chains. Four years ago, the screw was refurbished, otherwise it has been completely maintenance-free, apart from the care of the engine, of course.
I can wholeheartedly recommend it – we need more such local manufacturers.

If you want a machine that’ll really last, go with this company. We’ve got a Barakuda branch chipper that’s about 20 years old.
